Important: Location tracking ONLY occurs during active run sessions. We do not track your location when you're not using the tracking feature.

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version
  • App Usage Data: Run history, personal records, training plan progress

  • We access music files you add to the app's playlist
  • Music files remain stored locally on your device
  • We do not upload or share your music files

  • Accelerometer and motion sensors for step detection
  • Barometer for elevation tracking (if available on your device)

8. Location Permission Management

Android Permissions:

  • Foreground Location: Required for tracking runs while app is open
  • Background Location: Required for tracking with screen locked
  • Precise Location: Required for accurate distance and route tracking

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, but this will prevent the app from tracking your runs.

9. Children's Privacy

Running App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

10. Data Retention

  • Run data is retained locally on your device until you delete it
  • You can delete individual runs or clear all data through the app settings
  • Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data

11. International Users

Your data is stored locally on your device in your region. Future cloud sync features will comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable data protection laws.
